Life Near Sagittarius A*

Concept

This series explores a hypothetical star system, Eldios, orbiting dangerously close to the supermassive black hole Sagittarius A*. It is a journey into the physics of the impossible, where time is dilated, nights are lit by the accretion disk, and life finds a way to exist in the shadow of a monster.

Proposed Episodes

Episode 1: At the Edge of the Heart

Introduction to the Central Molecular Zone. The gravity, the radiation, and the star that shouldn't exist. Arrival at Eldios.

Episode 2: The Star that Shouldn’t Exist

A deep dive into Eldios (K-Type Orange Giant). How it survives the tidal forces. The "Goldilocks" zone in a region of chaos.

Episode 3: Three Oceans of Time

An overview of the three planets: Aurelia (The Balanced), Verdantis (The Ocean World), and Caelum (The Mist). How time dilation affects their evolution.

Episode 4: Life in the Shadow

Speculative biology. How organisms adapt to high radiation and the eternal glow of the black hole's accretion disk.
